Air travel near record in '11

It was a high-flying year for air travel in 2011. Last year's passenger numbers soared to their second highest level in history, according to the latest figures from the Walla Walla Regional Airport. Even better, officials said, is that this was accomplished with one less daily flight than Walla Walla had during its record air passenger year in 2009.
