2010 ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Re-Roofed B.914 (1480 F Street) at a cost of $4,207.
Re-Roofed B.1202 (975 E Street) at a cost of $8,991.
Re-Roofed Maintenance Buildings at a cost of $32,640.
Re-Roofed B.805 (720 C Street) at a cost of $11,000.
Maintenance crew crack-sealed Taxiways B, C, D, E and Industrial Park roads at a cost of $24,000.
Entered into contract with Walla Walla County Public Works to chip-seal Lear, B and G Streets at a cost of $52,000.
Entered into a 5-year farm lease for farm north of airport with Jason Beechinor.  Banked a portion of the water rights with Walla Walla Watershed Management Partnership.
Entered into a 5-year terminal restaurant lease with Dominick's on the Runway.
Trio Winery graduated out of the wine incubator program and moves downtown.
Entered into a new wine incubator lease with Corvus Cellars, Inc.
Extended lease agreement with the Corps of Engineers Logistics for building (725 E Street) for an additional 5-years.  Airport to receive $256,659 in revenue during the renewal term.
Leased additional 2nd floor terminal office space to Pocketinet Communications.  Airport to receive $1,838 in additional monthly income.
Extended lease agreement with Blue Ridge Aircraft Services for hangar (199 W. Fairchild) for an additional 5-years. 
Extended lease agreement with Blaze King Industries for an additional 5-years with one 5-year option.  Airport and Blaze King split improvement costs for a new loading dock and grading/asphalt work of parking lot.  Airport to receive rental income of $302,040 over a 5-year period.
Reiff Manufacturing suffered a fire on April 12.  Port agrees to use insurance proceeds and airport funds to construct a new 7,000 s.f. manufacturing building at a cost of $519,300.
Airport entered into agreement with Nelson Irrigation and Tamarack Cellars to make B.120 (102 W. Aeronca) drainage and concrete slab improvements at a cost of $18,500.
Refurbished the remaining airport terminal building directional signs at a cost of $4,000.
Purchased a manlift for the maintenance department at a cost of $21,660.
Seeded the safety areas on Rwy 7/25 and Twy C at an approximate cost of $12,000.
Installed an automatic, door lock/unlock system with web cameras in the terminal building at a cost of $9,100.
Completed a Sewer Replacement Master Plan for the airport industrial park at a cost of $4,500.
Repaired Hangar 118 roof at a cost of $9,500.
Airport develops a comprehensive "Aviation Fueling Policy".
Installed flat-screen television and coffee/tea beverage service in the terminal screening room at a cost of $2,600.
City of Walla Walla, through IPZ partnership with airport, installs fiber optics in the industrial park.
Airport successfully passes its annual FAA Part 139 inspection.
Airport held Pilot Form for aviation users.
